Funded Projects

ACTIF is proud to announce the second round of funded projects following its 2022 Call for Proposals.

The Act Together for Inclusion Fund (ACTIF)’s second cohort of funded projects includes 5 initiatives with 14 partners spanning 12 countries across the globe. It comes as the result of a historic funding commitment from Canada for LGBTQ2I human rights for collaborative projects between Canadian and Southern partners to advance the human rights of LGBTQ2I persons in countries in the Global South.

ACTIF is an outcome of significant efforts made by Canadian civil society, coordinated by Dignity Network Canada (DNC), to advocate for greater Canadian support for advancing the human rights of LGBTQ2I people internationally. It represents an important component of Canada’s $30M LGBTQ2I international assistance program which highlights Canada’s broader dedication to supporting the human rights of LGBTQ2I people worldwide in its international solidarity work, whose diverse communities around the world face systemic discrimination, violence, and human rights violations.
