Publication of “Evaluating the Impact of Human Rights Training: Guidance on developing indicators”

We are pleased to inform you that Equitas and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) have jointly published “Evaluating the Impact of Human Rights Training: Guidance on developing indicators”. This publication is designed to complement “Evaluating Human Rights Training Activities: A Handbook for Human Rights Educators”, jointly published in 2011 by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and Equitas.

This guidance tool aims at enhancing the competencies of human rights educators to develop appropriate indicators for measuring the results of their human rights education (HRE) programming and projects. This tool provides practical guidance on how to develop indicators in the context of evaluation of HRE programmes and includes a significant section on developing result statements for HRE programmes.
