Amira joined Equitas as a Gender Advisor. She comes with nine years of experience in civil society and in the United Nations system with regard to gender and violence based on gender. In the past, she has worked in Western Africa (Burkina Faso), Central Africa (Central African Republic), Estern Africa (Burundi, Uganda) and in South Africa. Amira holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights.
