Philip is an adult educator who for the past several years has been committed to working with diverse newcomer populations, focusing most of his efforts in working with newcomer youth at a Toronto-based, community organization. Most recently, Philip has completed a Master’s degree in Adult Education and Community Development at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, and is working as a full-time professor at Seneca College in the School of Community Services, where he is also the Program Coordinator for the Social Service Work – Immigrants and Refugees Program. He has been involved with Equitas for several years, and is currently supporting the Speaking Rights Program as the local coordinator in Toronto.
