I’m interested in supporting an organization whose people and values are inclusive, human rights-focused, and attentive to social justice and equity like Equitas. I enjoy interacting with Equitas’ accomplished and passionate partners around the world, and supporting Equitas in its efforts to render the development and human rights sector more inclusive and equitable at an individual and structural level. I hope that my expertise in LGBTI human rights and my commitment to gender equality and intersectional power analyses can serve this organization. I’m also concerned with the intersections of human rights and environmentalism/climate change, and look forward to supporting Equitas in addressing these and other emergent issues in human rights education.
