Enjoy a unique intercultural experience! Host a dinner for human rights educators in your home

Approximately a hundred human rights educators from more than 60 countries participate in the International Human Rights Training Program (IHRTP) held every year at John Abbott College in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Now in its 35th year, the IHRTP provides the participants with a unique opportunity to further their understanding of human rights and of the essential role of human rights education in effecting social change. The Host Family Dinner has been an important part of the IHRTP’s social activities since 1994. Through this event, participants enjoy an evening of Canadian hospitality nurturing a rich intercultural exchange. Families volunteer to prepare a dinner at home that will be shared with up to four participants from around the world. Many volunteers have participated in the dinner repeatedly over the years. This year, the Host Family Dinner will take place on Friday, June 13th. If you are interested in hosting IHRTP participants, please contact Iàn Roy: iroy@equitas.org Please join us in making this event a continued success!!!
