June 20, 2014: Aimia’s Common Good Team presents its recommentations to improve Equitas efficiency

As part of Aimia‘s ongoing collaboration with Equitas, a group of five Aimia employees spent a week at Equitas’ Montreal office to find solutions to improve the efficiency of the organization in different ways. Each employee of the Common Good Team came from a different part of the world and was chosen for their specific experience and expertise.

The Common Good Team presented its recommendations at Aimia’s Headquarters in Montreal.

Adrian Coles, a Technical Infrastructure Support specialist, from United Kingdom, proposed different solutions to improve Equitas ability to manage and share information. Patricia McManus, Director of Knowledge Management & Global Strategy from the United States, and Viktoria Ebecz, a Business Consultant in Switzerland, analysed Equitas current needs and opportunities to develop, manage and share its knowledge. Paula Kae O’Campo, a Senior Decision Science Analyst in Singapore; and Hwafern Quach, Marketing Analyst in Australia, also presented recommendations to improve Equitas funding campaigns. The team leader was Rafael Alencar, a Commercial Insights & Solutions expert based in Montreal, Canada.

“This kind of collaboration that we have with Aimia is something many non-profit organizations can only dream about”, says Ian Hamilton, Executive Director of Equitas. “Aimia provides not only support to organize the International Human Rights Training Program in Montreal, it also offers the expertise of some of its best employees around the world.”

We thank Aimia and the Common Good Team members and look forward to putting their good ideas into practice!
