Equitas has trained hundreds of human rights defenders from East Africa for over more than 25 years. Today, along with our partners, we work towards long-term solutions based on human rights education to equip communities to address gender-based violence, protect the rights of children and youth, and open spaces for citizens to participate in building safer and more equitable communities.
