Equitas had the pleasure of being in Ottawa some days ago for Speaking Rights Trainings with local Community organizations, including the YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization. More than 15 youth workers and coordinators were trained on the Speaking Rights approach and were excited about using these concrete tools to increase youth participation in their organizations and in their communities.
