Laurence joined Equitas in September 2019 as Program Officer for the International Human Rights Training Program (IHRTP). She completed undergraduate studies in International relations and international law as well as graduate studies in Law and Society, both at UQÀM. From 2006 to 2018 she was involved with the Projet Accompagnement Québec-Guatemala as an international observer working with human rights defenders, and as a general coordinator during 3 years. She also sat on the board of the Quebec network of ecologist groups from 2014 to 2019.
