Karine Joizil (she/her), is an experienced lawyer specializing in civil, commercial, and medical liability litigation. She has extensive expertise in class actions, injunctions, and contractual disputes, particularly in health and life sciences law.
A dedicated professor for nearly 20 years, she has been teaching public and administrative law at the training center of the Quebec Bar School in Montreal. She also regularly shares her expertise through training sessions offered by the Advocates’ Society. Karine has made significant pro bono contributions, collaborating with public interest organizations such as the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL) and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA).
A member of the Quebec Bar since 2001, Karine also serves on the Equality Committee of the Canadian Bar Association. With a corporate governance certification earned in 2019, she chaired the board of directors of Recyc-Québec from 2016 to 2023.
