Candace joined Equitas in August 2022 as Knowledge Manager. She leads the development and implementation of Equitas’ knowledge strategy and supports organization-wide knowledge building, management and sharing to the broader field of human rights education.
As an artist-researcher, Candace writes stories and plays to make children aware of their rights as codified by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. She holds a doctorate in political science from Columbia University in the City of New York, where she specialized in international relations, human rights, international law and peace studies.
