The Equitas team was welcomed at the Café-Rencontre youth centre in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies to give a training workshop on how to use the Speaking Rights toolkit in their work with 13 to 17 year olds. Twenty-two youth workers and coordinators from 12 youth organizations in the Lanaudière region enthusiastically took part in the training. “This training raised my awareness about the importance of integrating human rights into our youth program, and I’m now also more aware of my own rights!”
