100 human rights educators and defenders from over 50 countries have now arrived in Montreal to participate in the 32nd annual of Equitas’ annual International Human Rights Training Program from June 5 to June 24. The participants, chosen from over 800 applications, come to the program to deepen their understanding of human rights education, to share their experiences with other participants and meet with experts. This unique three-week program allows participants to develop new knowledge and skills to promote human rights principles and values more effectively and to bring about positive change in their communities.
