Human rights education… What is that?

In February 2024, more than 30 human rights educators and Equitas partners from all over the world came to Montreal for a week of exchanges, learnings and practical activities. During the week, Percolab was invited to host a visual thinking workshop wherein participants were trained to express their ideas and understanding of human rights education through a common language that transcends borders – the visual language.

This interactive graphic is not only a summary of the thoughts that emerged during the session, but it is also an invitation to investigate what is human rights education. We incorporated some written information to help you navigate the graphic’s contents. You will learn who are the actors involved in the human rights education process, its goals and outcomes, its means of action and more.
