Frederic is the Director of Programs at Equitas who was appointed in February 2011. He is responsible for the strategic development, fundraising, management, implementation, and evaluation of Equitas’ international programs, including the program for Strengthening Human Rights Education Globally, the IHRTP and the follow-up activities with alumni in Africa, the Middle East, North Africa, Caribbean and Latin America. Prior to becoming the Director of Programs, Frederic worked with Equitas from 1999 to 2009. For the first five years, he was the International Human Rights Training Program officer and for the following years, he was the Program Officer for Equitas’ Canadian program, focusing on children and youth in Canada. From 2009 to 2011, Frederic worked as the program and partnership director of Canada World Youth, an NGO that focuses on international youth exchange programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America. He has a diploma in agronomic engineering from the National Institute of Agronomics of Paris-Grignon in France.
