Equitas – International Centre for Human Rights Education is a non-for-profit organization,

transformative human rights education programs that build strong and inclusive communities. Since 1967,
Equitas’ programs have assisted thousands of individuals, civil society organizations and government
institutions to participate effectively in human rights debates, to challenge discriminatory attitudes and
practices, and to advance important policy and legislative reforms that enhance the promotion, protection
and respect of human rights. In Canada, Equitas’ programs focus on knowledge-building, leadership
training and participatory education projects for children, youth, and young women.
The Play it Fair! Program is an innovative program being implemented in day camps, after school
