The Speaking Rights Toolkit contains interactive age-appropriate content that explores important concepts in human rights and human rights education. It features dynamicas, activities and projects designed to engage youth on such topics as:

  • Self-esteem, relationships with others, belonging to a group and identity
  • Violence and intimidation
  • Romantic relationships, sexuality, gender roles and hyper-sexualization
  • Rights and obligations
  • Exclusion, marginalization, discrimination and racism
  • Participation, leadership and active citizenship

The Speaking Rights toolkit was officially launched in Montréal on October 21, 2010.
