Support Equitas in the 21k Montreal Charity Challenge!

For a third year in a row, Equitas is participating in the Montreal Charity Challenge on April 23 and 24 at Parc Jean Drapeau.

Different charities participate as teams and each participant raises funds for the organization of their choice. 

This year, Equitas is thrilled to be able to participate in the in-person event in Parc Jean Drapeau, but we will also have participants from around the world with the virtual event.  Participants will either a 5k, 10k or 21k walk or run. There’s even a 1k distance for kids! 

Since last year, we have the support of a corporate partner, Accedian, a Montreal-based leader in performance analytics and end user experience solutions. In 2021, their worldwide team helped us to collect more than 5000$! 

In these changing times, we all realized that there is still a lot of work to be done. Vulnerable groups such as women, children and the LGBTQ2I community are particularly affected. At Equitas, we believe that sharing knowledge about human rights is a step forward to create change, empower people and build more inclusive communities.  

Participating in the event helps us not only raise funds to continue our mission, but also to make our work more visible and increase the number of supporters and allies in the human rights movement.

Select the option to collaborate with an existing team of the Charity Challenge and choose Equitas – International Centre for human rights education. Share your fundraising page, ask your network to donate and come walk or run with us on the 23 or 24 (or virtually).
