How do I become an Equitas partner?
Equitas collaborates with organizations on specific projects, ensuring that the mission and values of its partners align with those of Equitas and human rights. At this time, we are not seeking new partners and are focusing our efforts on fulfilling our commitments to our current partners.
However, you can always use our human rights education resources, available free of charge on our website, to support your work or participate in one of our trainings. We also invite you to check our website regularly and subscribe to our newsletter to learn about future opportunities.
How can I participate in an Equitas human rights training course? Around the world
Equitas offers training sessions, workshops, and programs for organizations, educators, and community actors. Each year, we hold only three human rights training sessions open to people outside Canada: one international session, one in East Africa, and one in West Africa, for a very limited number of participants. For more information on these training sessions, please visit the Educating about Human Rights page.
For everyone, Equitas offers free human rights training modules through its online community, as well as free educational resources available on its website. Open trainings and calls for participation are announced on our website, in our newsletter, and on our social media channels.
In Canada
In Canada, Equitas designs and offers customized participatory training in human rights education, primarily for children, youth, community organizations, educators, and public institutions. The training programs are generally offered in collaboration with partner organizations and adapted to local contexts. To learn more about the training programs offered in Canada or to discuss a collaboration, please visit the Education about Human Rights page or contact us.
