She co-founded and chaired several cultural and student associations, such as the Society for the Promotion of Pluralism. She has also participated three times in the Model United Nations and collaborated in special projects for the Raoul-Dandurand Chair.
Rima has accumulated a diverse professional experience over the years, she was coordinator at the Office of the President at the Chambre des notaires du Québec for more than five years and worked on projects related to access to justice, including the coordination of the Quebec Forum on Access to Civil and Family Justice from 2018 to 2020. In the midst of the health crisis, Rima became aware of several issues related to family and children’s mental health as well as healthy eating and the environment and thus ran for the municipal elections in Longueuil in fall of 2021.
