Reanne(she/her) joined Equitas as an intern for the first edition of the Global Rights Connection Program in 2021. She has then joined the Education team as an Education Specialist and continued to support the Global Rights Connection program, then the Canadian programs. She is now a Human Rights Education Advisor.
Reanne is a settler currently situated on Tiohtià:ke, the unceded and unsurrendered territory of Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. She is a graduate of Political Science with a focus on women and gender studies and Indigenous feminisms from the University of Ottawa.
Prior to joining Equitas, Reanne’s work centered around community-based programming and youth empowerment with an emphasis on an intersectional human rights-based approach.
