Participants at this year’s training, Equitas staff, volunteers and interns and a representative of the IHRTP’s supporter, Aimia gathered in the atrium of John-Abbott College’s new Science and Health Technologies Building. Participants were welcomed into the Equitas family by Ian Hamilton, Executive Director of Equitas, John Bragg, Vice-President Government Relations and Social Purpose at AIMIA and Thérèse Bouchard, member of Equitas’ Board of Directors.

Sunday, June 9 The 35 participants, from over 20 countries, were encouraged to make the most of their next three-week journey, where they have the opportunity to share their experiences with human rights educators from around the world.
