On April 23rd and 24th, 36 people ran and raised funds for Equitas in the Charity Challenge at Parc Jean Drapeau in Montreal. More than $13 500 were raised this year for our third participation in the race.
We also counted on the support of a corporate partner, Accedian, a Montreal-based leader in performance analytics and end user experience solutions.
After two years of running separately or in small groups, our team was finally able to meet on site and ran with all the other participating organizations. It was a great opportunity to get together for an important cause and it was very much appreciated by all team members. Nine members chose to run on their own and kept in touch with the team by sending messages and photos of their race in different locations.
Equitas had a kiosk on site where we received many visitors, spoke about Equitas’ work and distributed sample health products which were generously donated from Bioforce Canada.
