Host Family Dinner 2015

An invitation to spend an evening with some of the most inspiring people you will ever meet!

Our Fund Development Officer Ronit Yarosky with her two children and IHRTP participants from Ireland, Vietnam, and Syria during a past Host Family Dinner evening.
Does the cultural diversity of our world peak your interest? Do you enjoy intercultural exchanges? Are you passionate about human rights and diversity?  You are invited to spend an evening with some of the most inspiring people you will ever meet! Now in its 36th year, Equitas’ International Human Rights Training Program (IHRTP) is an annual three-week training session that brings together approximately 90 human rights educators from more than 50 countries and enhances their ability to defend and promote human rights and democratic values in their communities. An exciting event during the IHRTP is the annual “Host Family Dinner”, where families living in Montreal volunteer to prepare a dinner at home to be shared with up to four participants from around the world. Many families have participated in the dinner repeatedly over the years, taking advantage of a truly unique and wonderful opportunity to share an evening with some amazing individuals. This year, the Host Family Dinner will take place on Friday, June 12th If you are interested in hosting some IHRTP participants, or have any additional questions, please contact Casandra De Masi at cdemasi@equitas.org before May 26th!
