Amélia joined the Equitas team as Logistic Coordinator in October 2023. Amélia thrives in roles that foster collaboration and community. She believes building bridges between individuals is the antidote to the discordance reflected in our society.
She holds a double bachelor’s degree in education and psychology, with a wealth of experience volunteering for human rights organizations. Before joining Equitas, Amélia’s professional career has led her to work in Canada and abroad, notably in Bolivia and Indonesia in roles including teaching, youth work, translation and communications writing.
