Leyla (she/her) joined Equitas as an administrative coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Law & Society from Concordia University. During her studies Leyla took a certain interest in gender studies, Human Rights and International studies. She also completed a semester abroad at University College Cork in the Republic of Ireland; while at UCC she was a member of the International Students Society as well as a member of the International Relations Society.
Prior to joining Equitas, she worked in customer service at Birks Group Inc. and decided to pursue her passion for human rights by joining the Equitas team in April 2022.
