Young Women, Young leaders

Stand up. Lead. Change.

Young Women Leaders of Montreal are building leadership skills and finding new ways to participate!

The Young Women, Young Leaders project in Montreal creates spaces for young women, ages 15 to 25, to:

  • Build their confidence and leadership skills, because knowledge is power!
  • Use their creativity to act for change in their community.
  • Get together and meet new people!
  • Discuss and address issues that most affect them in their daily lives!

Young Women, Young Leaders are on fire!

Since October 2013, the 4 groups of Young Women, Young Leaders in Montreal have gathered for workshops building their skills and knowledge around civic participation and leadership. Each group is now planning and implementing their Action for Change project which will address a barrier to participation for women in their communities. We look forward to sharing more news about these ambitious projects!
