Andrea (she/her) joined the Equitas team in December 2019 as an Education Specialist for the Kenya project on women’s empowerment. Prior to joining Equitas, she has taught internationally in Hong Kong, Switzerland, and Australia. A passionate advocate of gender equality, she also worked with community organizations in both Tanzania and Montreal where she developed and facilitated reproductive rights workshops. Andrea holds an M.A. in Education and Gender studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from McGill University.
